[Needham Public Schools Superintendent's Update]

Dear Needham Families:

The Needham Police and State Police are currently investigating the death
of a women found in her apartment on Linden Street, directly across the
street from the High Rock School's play fields.

The police do not believe there is any other threat to that area, or any
other area in Needham, and school will proceed as scheduled today.  As a
sign of support with the schools and due to the increased media presence in
town, the Police Chief will provide additional police patrols at all the
schools this morning.
