[Needham Public Schools Superintendent's Update]

Dear Needham Public Schools Families:


It has come to our attention that information has been circulating
regarding possible demonstrations in the United States that may occur
Friday, October 13, 2023.


Needham Police Chief John Schlittler and I continue to collaborate to
prioritize school security in and around our schools. Out of an abundance
of caution, the police will take appropriate steps tomorrow to ensure the
wellbeing and safety of the students and staff of the Needham Public
Schools.
