Dear Needham Public Schools Families:

Allow me to share a few updates as we begin the week:

• Virtual Coffee with the Superintendent  This year I will host several virtual opportunities for families and parents to connect with me to learn about school and district happenings as well as provide some time for questions about our work in the NPS.  The zoom meetings will last 45 minutes and the planned dates include:  November 17, December 5, January 9, February 13, March 20, April 10 and May 22. In order to engage families for whom English is a second language, Zoom offers translation captioning during the meeting in the following languages: French, Chinese, (Simplified) Japanese, German, Russian, Portuguese, Spanish, Ukrainian, and Korean.  

These virtual meetings will not be recorded and the first Virtual Coffee will take place at 6:30 p.m. on November 17th at this link: Virtual Coffee with the Superintendent  I look forward to seeing you!

• 10 Minutes With...  Please check out the latest brief, 10 minute video featuring three high school seniors who are leading SALSA: Students Advocating for Life without Substance Abuse. Powerful student voices demonstrating that alcohol and drug use are not necessary to enjoy high school and beyond.
