Dear Parents and Guardians:

I would like to remind parents and community members that there are two upcoming opportunities for you to interact with the School Committee:

•  School Committee Meeting, Tuesday, February 27th, 7:00 p.m. at Broadmeadow
        This meeting is a public hearing on both the school operating budget for the next fiscal year (FY08) and the plan for renovating the High Rock School into a 6th grade center.  A brief overview of the budget situation and the plan for renovating and expanding High Rock will be presented and then the community will be encouraged to make comments and offer suggestions to the School Committee.

•  School Committee Open House, Saturday, March 10th, 9:00 to 11:00 a.m., Historical Society (at Newman)
        This informal "open house" at the Historical Society is an opportunity to meet and chat with School Committee members and ask them questions about school related programs, issues, and ideas.  Drop in between 9 and 11 to say hello.

The School Committee welcomes the opportunity to hear from you and looks forward to your participation at one or both of these meetings.
