The Town has been notified by the MWRA that water service to Needham will be suspended in order to make repairs to a system leak.
The Needham Board of Selectmen at the request of Town Officials has voted to approve an emergency ban on all outdoor water use. This order superseded the current one day per week mandatory outdoor water use restriction.
The Board of Selectmen also requests your assistance by limiting ALL non-essential water use until further notice.
It is imperative that there be no outdoor watering and that all customers refrain from unnecessary water use. We anticipate that the problem will be corrected within 48 hours.
